WE TOTALLY LOST!

This week was insane!
2 days to teach Lee all the songs then we played the Salt in London. We drove to Barrie right after the show which meant… no sleep!
Normally we have our Victory of the Day, which we write on the whiteboard of the Lostice (the Lost Office). Sometimes it’s something small, like a fan email or mailorder, but yesterday was EPIC.
I can’t even list or put in order all the stuff that happened. The new thing we’ve been saying is “(insert event) was totally LOST” and Warped Tour was totally LOST, meaning that we totally made the best of it.
We did an interview with the warpedtour.com pit reporter Erin Caruso and aside from me dry heaving all morning (we’re talking 4 days of no sleep and a whole lotta coffee here…hey, it happens) it went pretty well. She ended up filming our whole set which will then go up on the warped site with a blog.
Matt, Devon and Amelie. Hoooooooooly Heavens.
Speaking of the team, they were freakin fantastic. I was in London rehearsing all week but they made their own handbills and posters with a space to write out set list. They got to Barrie at 9am and as soon as I found our set time they sat in a Tim Hortons writing it on every one of the hand bills. Matt made posters and put them up on all the telephone poles down the line. Catherine from indiscover.net and Ryan fron Idle Sons actually said that when she was coming in she noticed more of our handbills then anyone elses, and that they really stood out cause they were glossy and colour. Go Team!
Huge highlight: Kevin Lyman watched our WHOLE set. Apparently as soon as Devon saw him she went right in front of him and started singing a long so that he would see. Go Team again!
After our set I did a taped radio interview with CKLU 96.7 that went awesome cause I was all stoked and Angie Anselmo asked great questions.
we’re just going through amelie’s pictures now… can’t wait to see them!
I should take this time to those of you who helped us get this amazing opportunity by voting, listening to the player and spreading the word. YOU are the reason we played Warped Tour this year. We would not have made it there without YOUR help. So pat yourself on the back and send me a bill, will ya
Billy!
